Rebuke Repeal Reject

Sorry I’m late to post this…

I heart Sarah Palin, the next President of The United States of America.

I’m not buying it!

Yahoo has a story on their homepage, Tea party protesters use racial epithet against Georgia’s John Lewis.  I’m not saying it’s not possible but I’ve been to plenty of Tea Parties and have never heard anyone say anything of this nature. I don’t know if it’s a bad apple or maybe a “coffee party” member?

That said… it’s amazing to me that the “news” people in our country never would report on the fact that hundreds of thousands of people showed up in our nation’s capitol in Sept. 09 and had a peaceful protest and left the place clean.  I’m just floored that the media is the one that is suppose to be on the people’s side not the government’s side.  Yet time and time again they get it all wrong.  Hey media people do you think the masses are so stupid that they will believe your twisted views?  Your credibility is in the tank.

Furthermore I’m just twisted in general!

I’m the type of person that thinks for myself.  I watch all kinds of news, listen to both sides of talk radio.  In the end though I can have my own thoughts and do my own thing… if I just went with what others said I wouldn’t still be blogging here!  I’ve had so much hate email but in the end,  I like Sarah Palin.  I like most of what she stands for so I’m willing to stand up and say it even if it doesn’t make me popular with everyone.

And there’s more…

I don’t believe that we should rely on government for much more than national defense, roads and sewers.  Those within our government that want us to be more dependent on them, know that when they can step in and coddle the people, there is a breakdown in community/family thus giving the govt. more power over our lives.  The whole divide and conquer trick!

And I’m not done ranting yet…

Is there anything that government does not have an open hand out waiting for more money!  Oh wait… we don’t have to pay taxes on food, well not at the checkout but all along the way it gets taxed.  Democrats act as if they are going to stick it to the rich, they are the poor man’s champion.  Bottom-line is we are all paying and when they stick it to the man in the ivory tower guess who pays?  We do!  It’s all about the cost of doing business.  It’s common sense and if people can’t get that then our education system is failing… that starts on another subject though and I’m already spinning.  So, I will leave you with this video.  Beware, it’s full of common sense!

Dallas Tea Party 1st Anniversary

Wow, I can’t believe it’s just a few days shy of a year from the first Tea Party in Dallas. I let my oldest son miss school and go with me as I thought that was a lesson one just can’t learn in school. I believe that day there were about 200 to 300 people. Wow, it’s grown since then! Come out and celebrate one year at Dallas City Hall Feb. 27, 2010 from noon to 2pm.

Please leave a comment if your city is having a Tea Party to celebrate your first year.

Who is Your Local GOP Endorsing?

I ask because, I just saw the list of endorsements for my state senator who was given a conservative rating of only 32% – 43% depending on who is doing the rating. The endorsements are from ALL the local county GOP club chairmans. Have these people not learned anything??? Have these folks heard of the tea parties?

What more do we need to do? I know I’m starting with not contributing to their clubs. I already stopped giving to the Republican Party and now only donate to candidates or to SarahPac.com
