Seattle – Get that poster board, it’s protest time!
Protest announced on http://www.redistributingknowledge.blogspot.com/ by Liberty Bell.
The protest against the porkulus is on for President’s Day!
Date: Monday, February 16th
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Westlake Park in downtown Seattle, 401 Pine St., in the open area by the big arch.
The idea is to use what we’ve learned about dissent over the last eight years. We need loud protests with lots noise and visuals. So, what should you bring?
Bring AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN! Bring your families, your friends, neighbors, bring everyone!
Bring SIGNS!! Get those craft making juices flowing and make signs and banners and pictures and paintings. Just imagine that you are a left-wing college student with nothing else to do and that should help you get started!
Bring something to sit on and appropriate clothing.
Most importantly, JUST BRING IT!!!
***If anyone knows of any other protests around the country please comment and let us know.

Chairman Tom Price & The Non-Stimulus
Did we fund a speed reading course for Congress and the Senate that I didn’t know about? Chairman Price shows in this video the enormous “non-stimulus” bill that they are expected to vote on ASAP. Who in the world could read that thing in this short amount of time to make an “educated” vote?
I’d also like to add to this that Sen. Kay Baily Hutchinson said each family would get about $1.10 a day tax benefit from a bill that will cost a family over $9,000 each. My head is just spinning because I can’t comprehend what those people that are suppose to be representing We The People are thinking!
It’s not over yet! Stop The Stimulus!

Poster Board Should Be SOLD OUT!
I know we are all busy people. We have work, kids, pets and nifty TV shows to watch. I’m so surprised though that people have not taken to the streets in protest over this Stimulus bill. Has the mindset of America’s people looking for a quick fix without looking to the consequences really truly taken over? Are people afraid because the media says if you aren’t for this bill then you must be uncaring, that you must be an awful person not wanting to help those who are hurting?
Please leave your comment on why you feel that there isn’t more outrage about this Stimulus Bill.
