Time to Protest ABC News

Do you believe that a mainstream news outlet should be serving as an unofficial mouthpiece of the Administration?

Do you believe that a mainstream news outlet should provide free airtime to present the Adminstration’s side of an issue, while rejecting even paid advertising presenting an alternate view?

A coalition of Tea Party and 9-12 groups in North Texas is joining together in a protest of ABC’s decision to devote a full hour of free prime-time programming on June 24th to a presentation on the Administration’s new socialized medicine plan.

Despite its claims to be an objective conduit for news and information, ABC News has rejected requests for airtime made by advocates of alternate health care reform plans, even to those who offered to purchase airtime to present their side.

If you agree that this sort of behavior is completely inappropriate for a supposedly “objective” news organization, you are encouraged to join the protest and make your voice heard:

Where: WFAA, Channel 8 News, 606 Young St. (East of Union Station, Between Market St. and Lamar)
When: Wednesday, June 24th 5:30pm

Levi Johnston’s Mom Plans to Plead Guilty

Sherry JohnstonIn a story from AP, 42yo Sherry Johnston plans to plead guilty for possession with intent to deliver. This is a felony charge involving Oxycontin, a powerful and highly addictive painkiller.

I’m not big on here about getting on my soap box and believe that people do make mistakes and such is life.

BUT… yup here it comes.

Sherry Johnston has some nerve going on talk shows talking about how Bristol Palin won’t let her have her grandson more. Now, I’m sure Sherry loves Tripp and would not intentionally do anything to harm him but would you send your newborn baby over to a house where grandma had been busted for drugs??? The talk shows just let her whine about it to make the Palin’s look evil without ever calling her on the carpet about the drug charges.

Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

High School Nightmare

The more I think about the attacks on Gov. Sarah Palin the more it makes me think of those good old days in high school. Back in those days I really didn’t belong to a group. I was more of a loner and being a loner gave me lots of time to be an observer. I moved to a new school in my teens and right off I found myself being attacked by the popular girls and anyone that didn’t go along with them could be the next potential target. In fact as vicious as high school is, it could possibly be where Alinsky came up with his “Rules for Radicals”.

This is exactly how I feel about Gov. Palin. She is the new girl and a threat to the “established” group. She threatens the way the liberal democrats want women to think about how they are the party for empowerment of women however, that hardly looks to be case when all they can do is attack Palin, who has proved herself to be a successful woman in her on right.

Palin is also for personal responsibilty, what work?, earn?, manage your own life?, and feel good about yourself and your life… oh no, no, we can’t have that. The left need people on welfare and government programs to vote for them. They are the party of “help” which in other circles would be called enablement.

Back to high school again, there is always that one perky girl that is part of the clique, the one that goes out of her way to act as if she is nice to “new girl” so that she can in the nicest way be condescending and show her up. Anyone come to mind? Katie Couric ring a bell?

So, my point here is that when applying the high school mindset. We as grown up adults must not be so swayed by the pettiness of the other group, we should not be bullied into believing what is right or wrong but draw our own conclusions and that those that are in the middle of the road must see past the chatter for the talking heads in the main stream media. We must all get back to some conservative values. Really when it all boils down the things the media and the left dug and dug, came up with clothes that she didn’t even buy and some other petty bull. I would think that you would have to be totally ignorant or brainwashed for these things to make you think she is unworthy the position of president.

I don’t mean that all that would support Palin would have to be anti-abortion or a Bible beater, as the left wants to paint the right to be, I am neither. What we need is for those people to see that “conservative” is about conserving the founding principles of our great and unique country! The U.S.A. is unique, and for those that believe we should be the shining city on the hill and not just another socialist country need to get busy speaking up and speaking out. She is worth fighting for. That is why I would support Palin wholeheartedly if she decided to run for president. I believe she believes what this country was founded on I feel that in heart she wants to preserve our extraordinary place on this planet where we tell our children they can be anything they want to be. A country that people have risked their lives to get here for the promise of a better life, the American Dream.

Great Reporter from CNN

Does the left actually think that we are stupid? My guess is no. What all the smearing does though is only remind me of high school, which is where I think that Alinsky came up with some of his Rules for Radicals. You know in high school, a group would find someone to pick on and if you didn’t go along with the herd you could potentially be chosen as their next target. The only difference is that we called it peer pressure.

I’m happy to see though that more conservatives are standing up, speaking up and as the Tea Party slogan goes, “Silent majority no more!” We are not going to just go with the status quo any longer and have a bunch of whiners have their way. Peacefully but with the power of numbers we will overcome the issues facing our country today.

That said here is the next “award winning” reporter from CNN doing some great objective reporting! LOL

Here’s another great clip from http://www.howobamagotelected.com
