Dallas Tea Party 1st Anniversary
Wow, I can’t believe it’s just a few days shy of a year from the first Tea Party in Dallas. I let my oldest son miss school and go with me as I thought that was a lesson one just can’t learn in school. I believe that day there were about 200 to 300 people. Wow, it’s grown since then! Come out and celebrate one year at Dallas City Hall Feb. 27, 2010 from noon to 2pm.
Please leave a comment if your city is having a Tea Party to celebrate your first year.
Do your part! Register to Vote.

If you are not registered to vote visit http://www.rockthevote.org/ or go to your local DMV, or county office to pick a form. Don’t depend on other people to make this choice for you. Elections have been lost even when the polls showed favor. Don’t think that if you are in a “red state” it’s an automatic win for the McCain-Palin ticket. This race is so close that we need to stand and be counted. Encourage your friends and family to register and vote as well. (Well if they are for Obama I wouldn’t push the issue! *wink*)
Register to vote! The deadline is Oct. 4, 2008.
Go to vote! It’s your right and privilege as an American.
Historic Election
Aren’t you excited about this election? No matter which way it goes it will be a life changing event for our country. Are you including your kids in this? I am trying to include my almost 10 year old daughter. My parents never included me in politics, never told me how important it is to vote. Of course I’m still not sure where they stand on the whole political issue anyway.
My point is, let’s get excited! Sarah Palin is an awesome role model for our daughters and for us as well. Look at all she’s accomplished. Some days I have a hard time finding time to finish the dishes. LOL
P.S. For those of you wondering, I read in People magazine that Sarah Palin’s husband will be a stay-at-home dad if she and McCain get elected. Just thought you should know.
